I don't know if that is really a thing, but it is what my husband calls today, the day after Black Friday. Too many years in retail kind of ruin the charm of the post-turkey sales, at least in store. I must say I am grateful for the online deals.
We had a nice Thanksgiving, full of good food and good company. I cooked from Wednesday afternoon through lunchtime Thursday, and I wasn't even the one responsible for the turkey. We were lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful day of 70 degree temperatures, and time outdoors to enjoy it.
I am thankful for all of these things, and for the fact that my wonderful husband successfully saved all of my data from the broken computer on Wednesday night. I'm still working on tracking down all of my fonts, and downloading all of the programs I need for work. But, really a huge relief. While the data was in limbo I did work a bit on new art for the hide and seek game, and now look forward to getting back in the swing of things. Well as much as I can during the holiday season.
My boys have requested a Nintendo inspired star for the top of our tree, so I am hard at work on that. We also plan to make some ornaments tomorrow, which I will photograph and share the process under Kids Can in the near future.
I hope your Thanksgiving was as good as mine. Enjoy the piece of my Hide and Seek kitchen while you wait for next week's update!
